October’s Mid Week Taste of Italy celebrates and highlights sweets of the season as well as introduces some savoury delicacies available till Christmas. Stop by and see us on Wednesday the 21st from 4:30 to 7:30.
We will be sampling the newest addition of our “take home meals” section of our the bakery, Pollo (Chicken) alla Cacciatore. We are making full use of our new cooking facilities and are also introducing a selection of Salatini (bite size puff pastry treats with various fillings) which make great party and Halloween favours. The entertaining season is around the corner and we are getting prepared to bring to Victoria what Italians treat themselves to at social occasions.
Our crew has been making a fine selection of Halloween cookies as well as re-introducing our maple butter tarts which have been flying off the shelves faster then we can make them. We will stock the trays for this event and hope that you will have a chance to take some home to share with your dear ones.
