March Update

In a blink of an eye Easter is right around the corner. The past few months have flashed by and I was unable to blog as I had hoped to. We are nearing the one year anniversary of the post fire reopening (March 17) and believe it or not, we are still not in the full swing of things, when you have been opened nearly forty years, time moves at a different speed and our expectations are also higher because we know what we are capable of.

We have been busy with our regular work load but Joseph has put a lot of extra hours in the process of preparing the chocolate Easter eggs and other figurines. We will have some for sale but many have been set aside for custom orders. Our delicious hot cross buns have been available since the beginning of the month and we encourage you to order what you desire for the Easter weekend to ensure that you will get your desired selection. We do not have Colomba moulds since they burned in the fire but I am planning to make some rounded braids with the same dough and candied peel for the week of Easter. We hope to see you over the next few weeks and throughout the year.
